`Dear participant, we appreciate your participation in our survey. We are conducting a research on the project "Fluctuation in industrialising developing countries (Ghana): New dynamics in employment biographies" that is situated at the Leipzig University, Germany.`

`The project is part of the Special Initiative "Training and Development" that is financed by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).`

`We want to find out why people in Ghana leave their jobs, stay in their jobs or don´t show up for work. The results of our research will be presented to the German Ministry of Development and Economic Cooperation and different Ghanaian public and private institutions. All of your data will remain anonymous and confidential in accordance with German law. The questionnaire will take about 30-40 minutes.`
